Germany is a key location for production and research. In total, around 4’500 employees work for the German Clariant companies. At 16 sites throughout Germany, Clariant produces a broad portfolio of chemical specialties, which includes several thousand products. They play an important role in the manufacturing and handling processes of Clariant’s customers or add value to the final goods. Clariant’s largest production site worldwide is located in Frankfurt-Höchst. Pigments and waxes are produced here.

Clariant Innovation Center
The Clariant Innovation Center (CIC) is the heart of the company’s global innovation network. Offices and labs for around 500 researchers and developers, application engineers and analytics are located in the CIC.
