Domestic pharmacies and hospitals accounted for EUR 948 million of this total, while EUR 2,799 million came from exporting active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug products that were manufactured in Germany.
Frankfurt-Höchst is Sanofi-Aventis Deutschland GmbH’s headquarters and largest location as well as a network like no other in the Sanofi Group. From basic research to drug shipment, it covers everything needed to supply medicines to the German market and 100 other countries worldwide. 7,300 members of the company’s 9,500-strong German workforce are located in Frankfurt-Höchst, where they work in research and development, production and manufacturing, and administration.
