Werner Schiebler (55) is the new Director of Site Development at Infraserv Höchst. He is taking over from Andreas Brockmeyer, who has been made Director of Sales and Marketing at Provadis Partner für Bildung und Beratung GmbH. Brockmeyer is replacing Monika Kolb-Klausch, who on August 1st will become General Manager of Schulen des Deutschen Buchhandels, an academy specializing in publishing and bookselling courses.
Werner Schiebler: Returning home
Werner Schiebler, who has been with Infraserv Höchst since April 1, is already familiar with the job. After studying biochemistry at universities in Frankfurt and Konstanz as well as Yale and Rockefeller University, he obtained a Ph.D. and joined Hoechst AG in 1985. He began work in the Biochemistry department as a laboratory and project manager before becoming the executive assistant to the Global Research Director of Hoechst AG. In 1993, he was put in charge of business development between Hoechst’s pharmaceutical-research arm and biotechnology companies. When Hoechst AG was reorganized, Schiebler stayed on in his business-development function until joining the executive board of a biotechnology firm in 2001. In 2003, Schiebler came back to Industriepark Höchst for the first time as the General Manager of the German Association to Promote Human Genome Research, based in the Peter Behrens Building. In 2004, Schiebler was appointed Director of Strategic Alliances at Novartis. Schiebler is married with two daughters, and lives in Wiesbaden. He is a music enthusiast who plays violin, piano and guitar. I’m really looking forward to this new challenge, he explained. Industriepark Höchst is an extremely dynamic, diverse site, and I certainly want to contribute to its continued development with my new team. Infraserv COO Roland Mohr is positive that Werner Schiebler will be a tremendous asset for Site Development and its parent unit, Marketing, Sales and Distribution. Werner is familiar with not only the site, but also with all the relevant markets for site development. What's more, he already has an outstanding network within our target industries, said Mohr. Infraserv CEO Jürgen Vormann added, We are very excited to have someone of Werner’s caliber in this important, responsible position at Site Development so he can continue the outstanding work that Andreas has been doing over the past several years.
Andreas Brockmeyer: Doubled the number of tenants
Infraserv’s senior managers were full of praise for the departing Director of Site Development. Andreas has built up the Site Development unit and was personally significantly responsible for the steep growth in tenant numbers at Industriepark Höchst over the years, said COO Roland Mohr. CEO Jürgen Vormann looked ahead to the future, saying, We are delighted that Andreas will be staying with us in the Infraserv Group, where he will help drive the successful development of Provadis. I view this as an outstanding example of staff development in the Infraserv Höchst Group. The 47-year-old Brockmeyer earned a Ph.D. in physics in Osnabrück and joined Hoechst AG in 1989. He first worked in Research and Development and was then made Head of Application Engineering for Polymeric Optical Fibers. Then, he moved to New Business Development as Marketing Director for New Ventures before becoming Director of Marketing. After Infraserv Höchst was founded, Andreas Brockmeyer was put in charge of Site Marketing, a new department within the Marketing, Sales and Distribution unit, and ran the Site Development department. During his time in this position, the number of occupants at the park has more than doubled to over 90 companies. Attracting new companies to Industriepark Höchst is a stimulating, wide-ranging job. With our team, we were able to accomplish quite a lot, thanks in no small part to the excellent support provided by the other Infraserv units. I’m looking forward to my new position in the educational sector and the new challenges I’ll be facing," explained Brockmeyer. He is married with four children, and lives in Liederbach. Brockmeyer plays golf off and on and stays in shape by jogging every week.
Andreas Brockmeyer is taking over from Monika Kolb-Klausch as head of Sales and Marketing at Provadis Partner für Bildung und Beratung GmbH. On August 1, the 41-year-old Kolb-Klausch will become General Manager of Schulen des Deutschen Buchhandels as well as the Educational Director of Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels, an association of German publishers and booksellers.
