2010-02-19  : "Job-Multiversum" provides glimpse into research and production

"Job-Multiversum" is a different kind of job fair. Its second installment was held in Industriepark Höchst on February 18, 2010. Nearly 200 future college graduates accepted invitations from six companies based in Industriepark Höchst – AkzoNobel, Celanese, Clariant, Infraserv Höchst, Kuraray and Sanofi-Aventis – to spend an entire day at production and research facilities otherwise closed to the public, and to learn more about jobs and career opportunities at Industriepark Höchst. "We are extremely proud of how rapidly our park has developed in the last ten years and how much potential it still has," said Roland Mohr, Managing Director of Infraserv Höchst, in his welcoming address to the students. "Today, you will see cutting-edge technologies being applied and enhanced. You may even see your future workplace."

2009-10-08  : "Site. Readiness." – Winning formula for optimized cost structures

True or false: Sites generate costs that are hard to capture and do little to hone your competitive edge. True? No, false! In fact, industrial-site operations harbor enormous potential for manufacturers to boost their efficiency. However, the costs of secondary production processes have to be presented transparently and then optimized to significantly enhance the company's competitive position. Virtually nowhere is this more true than in the chemical, pharmaceutical and related process industries with their special infrastructure requirements. Infraserv Höchst, the operator of the 4.6-km² Industriepark Höchst in Frankfurt am Main, has extensive experience operating and managing industrial sites. The winning formula for the dynamic Industriepark Höchst is now an Infraserv product: "Site. Readiness."

A court has confirmed the legality of the license granted to the waste-to-energy (WTE) plant in Industriepark Höchst. Today, the 6th Division of the Hesse State Administrative Court in Kassel denied the lawsuit filed by BUND, an interest group, to overturn the license issued by the Darmstadt Regional Council in February 2008. Using refuse-derived fuel (RDF) – high-heat-value portions of municipal solid waste – the facility will generate and supply energy for tenants in Industriepark Höchst. The plant is scheduled to come on stream at the end of the year.
